# **客户端崩溃 / crash**

### Environment

- OS: macOS 13.7.8 (22H730)
- Hardware: Apple Silicon, native ARM64, MacBookPro18,3
- VS Code: 1.131.0
- Extension: `MarsCode.marscode-extension` 1.7.2
- Extension name: TRAE AI: Coding Assistant

### Problem

Since the afternoon of 2026-08-05, VS Code repeatedly shows “Code quit unexpectedly”.

The crash reports are `EXC_BREAKPOINT/SIGTRAP`. The macOS crash reports also contain:

```
*** multi-threaded process forked ***
crashed on child side of fork pre-exec
```

In the VS Code main log, I observed approximately 45,043 repetitions of:

```
[network process] gone - pid: 0, exitCode: 1003, crashed: true, crashedPreIPC: true
```

The messages appeared in bursts of up to approximately 3,900 lines per second.

### Extension-related logs

The TRAE/MarsCode extension logs repeatedly contain:

```
Agent TTNet not available (transport not initialized)
Stopping server timed out
```

There are also warnings about the proposed API:

`inlineCompletionsAdditions`

After VS Code exited, an orphaned process was observed:

```
Code Helper (Plugin) .../.marscode/ai-chat/binary/1.7.2/monitor.js vscode-external
```

### A/B test

1. With all extensions disabled and a clean user data directory:

   ```bash
    open -a "Visual Studio Code" --args \
      --disable-extensions \
      --user-data-dir /tmp/vscode-diagnose
   ```

   VS Code remained stable and produced no new crash report.
2. With the original user profile but only TRAE/MarsCode disabled:

   ```bash
    open -a "Visual Studio Code" --args \
      --disable-extension MarsCode.marscode-extension
   ```

   VS Code produced no new crash report and the network-process crash loop did not return.

With the extension enabled before testing, VS Code repeatedly crashed.

### Expected behavior

The extension should not cause VS Code to exit or repeatedly crash the VS Code network process.

### Workaround

Disabling or uninstalling `MarsCode.marscode-extension` prevents the crash.

### Request

Could you please investigate the interaction between the extension's `monitor.js`/TTNet background process, VS Code's network process, and macOS process fork/pre-exec handling on Apple Silicon?

I can provide sanitized crash-report excerpts and extension logs if needed.

Related: #1830, which also contains TTNet and `.marscode` initialization errors.
